Situated a 15 minute drive down the coast from Beach house is the quintessentially English town of Southwold. Sometimes referred by locals as London on sea with some excellent retail therapy, deli’s, bakeries and coffee shops & some of the best ice cream shops. Walk South along the beach and catch a little ferry boat across to see the pituresque village of walberswick with some nice pubs, =village green, park and the best place to do crabbing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a lovely walk down to a secluded and unspoilt beach. Its takes about 10 minutes to drive to the start of the walk from beach house<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A thriving market town with excellent markets. There is a monthly farmers market at Beccles heliport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Park on rectory road in Pakefield on the way into lowestoft. You will find a very large sandy beach, with lifeguards for protected swimming in the summer. Kensington gardens has tennis courts a little boating pond and a bowling green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The beach runs all the way along the promenade at Lowestoft with a peppering of arcades (!), but also excellent donuts and fish and chips. You will also find a mini golf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is a lovely place to visit to walk along the river, see the boats & soak up the atmosphere. There is a park and tennis courts you can hire. You are also able to hire boats here for a trip on the broad.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
